Pictures within advertising

I know that we shouldnt use just any images on our sites. That being said what if you were having unique banners created - can I say use a pic of Phil ivey in a banner promoting Full Tilt?

I should think you can for FTP, as he has signed to them. But using his face on say a pokerstars banner probably wouldn't be a good idea IMO.

I would create it and send to FT to get an opionion. Watermark it before sending. I don't see a problem so long as it does not infringe on them.
If you look at FullTiltPokerReport.com, Marty of FTPR does the same.

I am, been getting them approved by my AM's before using'em though.

PS is the only one that has ever had problems with it ( a year or so back), took a little creative liberty in that case though lol made some requested changes & all was OK.

Wouldnt that just screw with people who knew he p;ays for FT yet seeing his face with PS lol

And im sure Fulltilt don't pay him for him to be seen on a PS banner.
