Looks sleek and easy to use. Well done on not creating too many forums from the start, keep it minimal and then add more if neccesary when the forum grows.

Two things:
The page is wider than my screen, so there is a scroll bar along the bottom. This makes it so much more awkward to navigate, and I would highly reccomend that you try and get the page to fit onto a visitor's screen without them having to scroll.

And you spelt general discussion wrong; 'Generat Discussion'

Nice site, it does seem rather wide on my screen as well.

Best of luck.

Looks great on widescreen. Might want to force a 1024.768 res though just to avoid any problems

Looks good

Thank you so much for your feedback all. I have a 1680x1050 screen and so that is why I didn't notice the scroll bar. How would I be able to format so that it forces the user to 1024x768? I also changed my typo =)

Another thing, I have an account with PAW, how do I add the images and links in xhtml? I'm having a hard time adding the links on the two sides of the forum.

One more thing, I am trying so hard to promote my forum but am finding a hard time doing so. Can you please give me advice on how to gain members without pushing it?

Default One thing

Just one thing that I noticed was that the search bar on the way bottom does not work and there is no button for it. Otherwise it looks pretty cool.

The URL's seem to be really long. That's not very search engine friendly. What software are you using? Most of them offer some type of SEO package you can buy which will "friendly up" your URL's.

Also, if you want to rank for "poker forum", you might try changing the anchor text to the link to your home page from "Forum" to "Poker Forum".

I'd remove the non-poker forums for now. It's a poker forum right? And you're trying to build a community based around poker players....so focus on the poker forums until the need comes to have those other forums. You can easily solve this with a "Introduce yourself" thread in the main forum, as well as an "off-topic" thread where people can discuss whatever the heck they want. Same with a "Comments and Suggestions" thread.

This reminds me that I REALLY have to finish my articles on building a profitable poker forum, that I'm going to write for PAW. Maybe I'll do that today.
