How long were you in the google sandbox?

I have heard that the Sandbox does not even exist. Am I completely wrong with that?

I guess there is probably a ton of controversy regarding this.

The sandbox is a pretty old term now. It still applies somewhat, but what was the status quo three years ago when the sandbox was "invented" is very different than today.

Yea I would say never.

Either buy a high PR link or do a sitemap and submit it to Google. High PR links work fast. If you can affors a link on a PR7 or PR8 site you will be set in Google's eyes. Probably be indexed within 24 hours.
