Sorry for the dumb question but what are the biggest poker rooms?

I know number one is party poker, second is pokerstars? What about 3,4,5.

Hi

3/4 is between Paradise Poker & Prima Poker Network, followed by Ultimate Bet and Poker Room - a good site to review stats is www.PokerPulse.com

http://www.pokerlistings.com/ has updated stats in real time.

I'ts worth the effort to try and get your site listed on their homepage, a PR7.

Notice my site in the #2 spot under Poker Variations

Pokerlistings is fine to be on because they can send traffic, but the site doesn't pass PR to your site. They use redirect links, except to their own network. It's actually kind of dangerous.

Notice how if you click the second or third link displayed, your PR shows as PR4 for the second, and PR3 for the third. That's because the displayed PR is the PR of the redirect link, not your home page. Notice also that the third redirect link even has its own backlink

Poker Pulse has a good ranking of poker rooms based on number of players.

For those of you who don't like PPP because he shoots down your questionable promotions, you should respect him because he knows this game better than almost any of us here. Thanks PPP for the insight.....seriously.

For those that don't know its called PR dillution. So every link they put up that appears to link to you is really a link back to them.

They are lucky google hasn't penalized them with the redirects. I got hammered by google for doing the same thing.

I love PPP's posts. His technical advice is very informative and I think he's tough on people because he know's just how tough it is to make it in this business.

If you can't take some harsh criticizm and learn from it, you're not going to make it in this game.

PPP what do you mean by "it's actually kind on dangerous".

I know redirect links don't pass on PR but having my sites link on a very high traffic site like pokerlistings.com gets me about 10 visitors per day and it get's my sites name out there(branding) along side some of the most popular poker sites.

Are you saying that having my link there could hurt my site?

I do link back to them from my homepage.
