Well that will pretty much screw BetUS.com as the name pretty much only attracts U.S. players.

Why is the only source for this the questionable Gambling911? I'm not saying that it isn't true, but it is curious that they're the only ones citing it.
Update: I guess a couple of other minor sites mention it on Google news, but why nothing official yet?

Just spoke to someone at Doyle's and they ARE still accepting USA players (except Louisiana and Washington).

The deal that they were kicked from Tribecca comes from a reliable source. They were given 6 months to leave the network orignally which I believe was May 15 or May 1st. This part I heard from a very reliable source.
I Heard elsewhere (don't quote me on this) the rooms who were going to block USA had this option right away. Others who did not block USA players had until a cetain date to leave and go to another network.

tribeca said a long time ago that they would no longer accept US players, but they would give their rooms time to find a new network.
Doyle's Room would already be on another network if the software FCP is using didn't suck so bad. Now they've had to change plans. My guess is they'll be on the Merge network in the next few weeks.
US players can play through February, just no new US players right now.

Dear all, We would like to give you an update on Victor Chandler Poker’s current development.
Due to US restrictions and the sale of Tribeca Tables to Playtech, all poker rooms currently running on Tribeca software are getting ready to migrate onto the Playtech platform.
VC Poker is scheduled to migrate around the end of February / beginning of March.
There is absolutely nothing to do on your side.
Our new software provides a more complete gaming experience to your players. Keep in mind that what is beneficial for your players is also beneficial for you!! It will definitely help you achieve higher commissions: |
