Which US banks will cash international Checks

My bank (it's a local bank in Texas) has to send out my international checks to a third party to get them cashed. It usually takes weeks and they charge a fee. Which banks do you guys use that can cash the checks immediately without having to send to a third party? Anyone here use CitiBank or Bank of America? What's their policy on this?

Strange.
No fees at Citi or BofA, and they might put a hold on the check while it clears if you do not have an established account it is still no issue and no fees. BofA ussually a few days, but if its from like Balize the hold is like 10 days.

It varies, mine are usually held for three to five days but if you have two dollars in your account and deposit a $5000 check you can expect a longer delay.

Your account standing, how much money you transfer, years at the bank, etc... are the primary factors when determing how long a hold is placed on a check.
