PPP, I think it's more than fair for the skins themselves. The guys at CDPoker felt very hard done by because Titan was well known as the bigger brand of the network, so they effectively had very little poker players to actually market to.

Could you please tell me who owns IPOKER?

Playtech? or it is an independent organization?

And also Does CasinoPartners belong to Playtech?

Playtech is the software, there are 19 Poker sites using the playtech software.
Casino Partners takes care of the affiliate side of things for poker ocean and titan poker as well as some other casino sites that are owned by a company called Hardway Investments Ltd.
IPoker is the network of sites that share the same player base, there are 16 sites in the Ipoker network and all use playtech software.

Hope thats right and makes sense

I'm not sure if "very hard done by" is Brit-talk, but just because something is "harder" for someone is not a bad thing. In fact it is a very good thing. The largest brand brings players to the network and does all the work to make a player for the network, only for a smaller sklin (and some affiliates) focus their efforts on stealing the player.

That is a very stupid business model. It has also failed in an ugly way previously so it is foolish for another skin cardroom to switch over to it.

If nothing else you'd have to be nuts to do MGR with a network like this.

Working with skins gets more undesirable everyday, but this network should fall off any affiliate's list who markets to create new players, and of course the poachers should focus on it while they can (though again, not on MGR).

Yea MGR may be a bad idea, I could agree with that.

But Prima seems to have done great with tons of skins all this time.

Prima has no lead/main/principal cardroom. That is where the model works okay. Situations like Party/old-Empire show it to be insane.

The only way the model can function at all is if it is a bunch of equals... but still it is stupid to make it so stealing players from other skins is the primary place to get new players from.

With Prima it works well because a lot of their players come from sportsbooks and casinos. I have players in my affiliate account at one Prima room that were there before online poker for real money even existed.
A lot of Prima's business model has been structured around offering an add on poker brand to existing online casinos or online sportsbooks.
Ex:
Royal Vegas Poker - Royal Vegas
The Gaming Club Poker - The Gaming Club
Bet Holdem - BetWWTS
VIP Poker - VIP Sports (and other VIP bands)
etc. etc.
Most of the sites that joined the Prima Network were already offering a casino or sportsbook.

Prima became a rakeback whore network for a while, but initally it was mostly market as another brand of established companies.
