The serps are so bad for yahoo right now. Easy to manipulate if you're into that sort of thing.

LOL

Yea Yahoo is great for us smaller sites but I don't think as many online poker players use it. I get a lot of hits from Yahoo's first page for terms I am on page 5 for with Google.

AOL is even worse. They claim to be powered by Google but in AOL I am #1 for a vey popular phrase and not even on the first page for Google. The difference is instead of the 200 hits I get from AOL I would get 2000+ if I was #1 in Google.

Well I was thinking manipulation that brings in a few hundred players a day so probably not.

Being #1 in yahoo for a given term is the equivalent of being #25+ in google.

Even if you can "manipulate" Yahoo or MSN, who cares. The traffic from these search engines will never equal that of google.

Yeah Yahoo results bite right now but......

Those of us who have been in SEO for many years have seen this over and over and over and over and over again....

Do yourself a BIG favor and don't sweat the search engine whims.

There is NOTHING you can do about it. And things will change soon enough.

Keep adding top quality unique content, back-links, write articles that point to your site , blog.... yada... yada ...yada

Trust me your biggest waste of time and that = money.

Is obsessing over current search engine rankings.... earning stats of any kind..... and surfing forums looking for THE answer.

Get back to work you slackers and build your business.
