It's been in the works for awhile, and they haven't made an announcement because as soon as word got out no doubt more work will bury him further than he is already buried in, but Edward Ihre is now in charge of the Pokerstars affiliate program. There isn't anybody in the business with a more solid repuation than Edward's.

He has a lot more work still in setting up a more full-blown program so don't expect anything immediately, but next year we should see significant improvements.

Damn you guys spoiled my fun. Yes Edward is the new director of affiliates and him and I have been speaking about the upcoming program changes. It is my belief that PokerStars can become one of the elite poker affiliate programs with him at the helm.

There are going to be some very exciting changes in store in 2007 which PPP eluded to. I am going to be interviewing Edward tommorow, so if you have any questions post them here and I will get them in.

Also he is very keen on working with PAW on our Integrated Affiliate Backend as he sees the tremendous value in it for PokerStars as well as the affiliates. So if you haven't signed up yet, there has never been a better time.

There are some very exciting things coming that unfortunately I cannot discuss, but I can tell you that many of you who are not promoting PokerStars right now will be doing so in the coming months.......if you're not you will be nuts.

I don't have questions, but have some suggestions....

1. An affiliate site to check stats which are detailed.
2. Offline bonus codes
3. A MGR/CPA combo plan (ie $75 CPA + 15% revenue share)
4. Banner creation software (where we can create our own customized banner with our bonus code / site name etc...)
5. Personalized landing pages - or again, something where we could create our own
6. Tourney creation system (do it yourself again)
7. Bonus offer for affiliates to present that it is above the regular one offered by the site (or some kind of incentive you can't get from PokerStars directly)
8. Real Time Stats (similar to Poker.com/Titan/Tony G)
9. A Poker Stars Affiliate Discussion Forum
10. A monthly affiliate tourney
