I don't understand why these poker rooms are pulling out of the US market already if the bill isn't signed yet. First, Party Poker says "once the bill becomes law", next they're telling me I'm not allowed to refer any US players anymore. I thought this bill was about banks, not playing.

I also just got an email from PartnerLogic saying they're pulling out too. What rooms are hanging in there? Are any of the rooms still worth promoting, or will there be more emails coming tomorrow?

They're pulling out for one to protect their corporations and employees from prosecution in the U.S. or even if some of them travel to the U.S. and also because it will be better to cooperate now in case the U.S. eventually does decide to allow it and regulate it in the future.

Default Rooms Still Accepting

I 'heard' that FullTilt, Doyle's Room, Mansion, Stars, Bodog, and Absolute are still accepting U.S. players, and will continue to run business as usual. I would check with your aff. managers to find out the scoop on your rooms to be positive. I think many of the rooms are "waiting it out" to see what happens in the next few weeks. IMO, the dust will settle and this will turn out to be less detrimental than many think.
