Links question

How do you figure out how many inbound links you have? I remember this being posted somehwere on here. It has somethin to do with Yahoo or Google I know....

Another question while Im at it.....

I heard if you multiply the searches done in Overture x3 then that will give you a ballpark figure of searches done in Google. Is this true?

I use AdWord Analyzer and SEO Elite. Although this has been heavily debated here before too.

search.yahoo.com

linkdomain:www.site.com

On the traffic question, use www.google.com/trends to roughly gauge google traffic.

go to google...search links:typeyourdomain and it will give you a listing of links. Google only lists the better links, not the crap directory ones.

I've heard that you need to take Overture and multiply times 4...so probably in the ballpark of 4x and 3x

Yep, lets not get into those debates again.

I use both Adwords Analyzer and SEO Elite and in my opinion they are well worth the price and will give you accurate information to both of your questions Justin.

In my humble opinion. Check them out and decide for yourself.
