I would email PokerPages. They will set you up with a nice skin just like they hooked up Doyles Room. I've actually been contacted many times, but I had to refuse since I don't have the time being a student and all.

$13K will get you 65% but your software will still say “powered by Island Poker” and you'll be just a glorified affiliate w/ a higher percentage and a website that says a different name. Poker Profits will brand you out the software (with your own logo in lobby and on the table) and give you 65% for $45K and an additional $5K if you want an affiliate program which brings the total to $50K.
Depending what you want to do there are other options as well in the $50K range with other skins, but that’s about the best deal you’ll find to get the software “Fully Custom Branded” with its own gaming licenses and custom affiliate program.

Who better to start a new small targeted online cardroom than a group of successful poker affiliates and players (handful of PAW members) that generally know what it takes on both sides of the equation to run smoothly and fairly for both players and affiliates? With a lot of our successful affiliate sites combined we've already got a great player reach in our hands waiting to be utilized.

You make a great point there indieangler.

I would be willing to invest up to $10k if enough PAW heavy weights would like to give it a go.

Running and promoting our own card room would be an interesting challenge and possibly very lucrative.
