Do you see legality as one of the major deterrents of online poker playing as well as the being part of the affiliate programs?

Would you care to elaborate on the illegality of promoting online poker in the US? If I remember right, I've seen multiple advertisements in magazines, on tv, and various other media sources. Are they all breaking the law? Are there "special" laws at Universities that don't apply elsewhere?

I really don't like your "VERY illegal" statement without anything to back that up. If you're correct, please elaborate.
