How many real players are left?

With the poker craze on the same track as the Internet bubble, how many players do you think are still available to tap. I know the industry is supposed to grow tremendously, but that is the same thing they said about online shopping malls. Can a newcomer still make money?

i think there are 1000's of players out there...but keep in mind, there are 1000's of players that are going to go broke and quit. you have to keep adding new players to replace the ones you lose.
