We have had mix talks on this with numerous lawyers and I feel very good about this business we are all in. A partner Poker site of ours who is publicly traded have spent over 20k with this lawyer in the past 90 days and came to the following conclusion: The Canadian Government are doing nothing about poker anytime soon so they are full steam ahead in Canada. They are our partner again this year on our Canadian College Poker Championship so if there was a worry I think they would have backed off with this deal.

If you notice The Score and TSN Sportsnet plays of the week are both sponsored by Gaming Sites (888 and Stars) I think 90% of the corporate offices for Poker Sites are in Canada as well.

I'm really not worried about this at all.

Two really European based focused sites have approached us in the past two weeks about different deals and partnerships to come after the Canadian market so I don't think we are in great jeopardy

I was audited by Rev Canada a couple of years back because a bank employee noticed some big NetTeller transfers to my account and reported it to the feds.

They know I'm an online gambling affiliate, along with hundreds of other Canadians. They don't care as long as you report ALL of your income and keep good records.

Advertising - 541800 or Publishing - 511000....... take your pick.

Just my personal experience..... I am not a lawyer or accountant.

Everything we take in via Canada is advertising money....

I have been audited the past two years by Rev Canada mainly because I don't charge HST on Revenue and the majority of our expenses are in Canada so we claim HST paid. So we have large HST rebates with no cash being paid in. The Government tend to not like that lol

OK I will have to think about what I am gonna do but like one guy above mentioned, to advertise .net sites instead of the .com sites, is that even possible because I see no affiliate options on the .net sites of the major online poker sites? because I only see them on the .com sites.

Thanks for the information.
