This is brilliant news! I just spoke with the affiliate department on the phone who confirmed that all US players would continue to be tracked to affiliates
If Party and Pokerroom did this I would retire tomorrow.

Seriously.

i think they are, but they didnt leave the market by choice, the network they were on stopped taking US players

For anybody who didn't get the email, or just wants to read it.
Looks like we'll get at least some of our players back (highlighted in bold)

Dear Affiliate,

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that DoylesRoom.com is back in the USA Market. Commencing October 19, 2007, all US-players are welcomed to enjoy our redesigned, faster and better poker tables.

DoylesRoom.com US-players that moved to Full Tilt will be allowed to re-access their existing account. The affiliate referral code will remain the same and will continue to track their play.

This change will not affect our other projects with the Canada, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America markets, as we are committed to work closely with ALL our affiliates.

During the past 6 months our affiliates department has been working on new tools for the affiliates, including special promotions and a brand new member’s area. If you have not seen our new affiliate interface, we encourage you to login to your account. Also, we have been working to improve our poker client and we added new features and games for all your players.

The Affiliates Department is also overseeing the Conversions Department at DoylesRoom.com to guarantee the best conversion rate for all our affiliates by personally inviting all your players to the different tournaments and special events.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact your affiliate department by sending an email to or calling the toll free number: 1-888-762-4192 Ext 2800.

Best Regards,

I wonder how Full Tilt and Doyles Room did the transferring player deal. If they sold the players at a set price I doubt any players will get an email saying that DR is back open. Most are probably snug at FTP on rakeback by now.

If DR basically became a big affiliate when they transferred players to FTP my guess is players will get an email and we'll get some of our players back.

Anyone know how all that worked out? Either way, I guess its better than nothing but I wouldn't think too many players will jump back to DR. We'll see, hopefully they do.

HS, I would have thought the same thing about the Full Tilt deal but apparently Doyle's Room plans to e-mail US players on Friday and welcome them back. At least that's what the affiliate representative said when I questioned him about it a half-dozen times.

He explained that players would receive a link to the Microgaming software and could use their old login information with a new alias.

What did Full Tilt pay for if it wasn't for the complete player rights? I don't really care as long as I get my players back.
