Default Promoting Online Poker in Global Markets

I wrote a new article as this topic has been bothering me for a while now. It seems at every conference anymore all you hear about is "going global".

While I agree this is important, there are a lot of people throwing out this thought without actually explaining how to do it properly or how difficult it actually is to do successfully. I am no expert, but I do have a unique position where I have seen it be very successful as well as go to shit both within my own business experience and through various other affiliates.

Feel free to discuss or ask questions, or even disagree if you want. I do feel this is an important topic though, regardless if you're just starting out or a Super Affiliate.

nice article. I am surprised that there is not a definitive "go-to" translation service for affiliates. You hear some people offering their services from time to time via the forums, but nothing definitive.

Could be a nice market for some inspiring entrepreneurs..

Definitely.

Industries on the web are always evolving, and none more so, than online poker. And those that may have at one point had the short end of the straw for not speaking English as their first language, now have an opportunity to become gurus in online poker translation.

To offer a full service translation service would be tough though as it would be difficult to get that many translators together that are fluent in both English as well as the other countries language that also have a great understanding of poker and gambling terminology.

Great article and spot on. Translations are one thing, translations by poker players is another. Could you imagine a non-poker translator trying to translate, "I missed my double belly buster"
