Poker Calculators and conversions

Is it better to promote a calculator that is free when the player signs up for a room, or are there better equipped one for stats that are sold seperatly and are nore useful.

The reason I ask is I am looking into one but am not at all comfortable sending a player somewhere else ie. the product website where they can sign up for another room or see a better deal than that which I offer.

Does anyone have any sugegstions and are these tools over done now?

huh? No your advice is always wanted but you have me confused. I have seen those where you sign up you get the calculator and to be honest most of them I have found are either pointless or will actually have a negative impact on a beginner if they take it as it is. Plus I don't want to send my players elsewhere. what I was looking for is one that people buy, and have a complete comprehensive listing of stats. For it to keep track of everything that it has the possibility to keep tabs on.

I've also looked around in the past for a stats software which wasn't asking players to sign up to a room.

Last thing I want to be doing is recommending a product on my website only for them to go off and signup under someone else to a poker room to get the software instead of via my links.

I did find one peice of software that was promoted via clickbank and was a straight sales price rather than "signup for this room and get it free" but when I researched it further the software was getting alot of complaints about bugs.

If anyone knows of such a peice of software which is good and sold for a straight sales price with an affiliate program please let me know.

lol I seen one on tv the one night. They were doing a special on negraneau and how popular online poker is. Anyway there was this kid in his first year of college who used a program that kept comprehensive stats of everything...the works. He was running it on all his tables and said he couldn't do without it. He was paying for his education through winnings of playing online. Maybe he was bsing it but there has to be something out there.

Understand the cost would be a fair size but I am also looking for this for players who want to take it to the next level. There are quite a few out there that I think would appreciate things like this. I know many of them that are winning players but they hand record this information and are pretty much OCD about their stats.

I'm not entirely sure what the general question is in this thread but I'll try and answer from what I've inferred.

There is a program called Poker Office which is excellent and is used by many online poker regulars (including myself). It records all the information from every hand you play and displays the data on your game as a whole. It really is a great piece of software. There is an affiliate program for it that gives $14 to the affiliate for each purchase.

There is also another program called poker tracker which is just like PO, but theres no affiliate program for it.

Not sure if I am stating the obvious, but I think its addressing your question.
