Hosting Banners On Your Server Or Thiers?

[offyourface]

I haven't seen this question anywhere and was curious if there are any benefits with hosting banners on your own server verses theirs. Do they tend to load faster if they are all on yours since your not waiting for a response on 10 different servers, or is it actually the other way around? Thanks.

I've found they're quicker if you host them on your own servers, because you don't have to access other people's sites to display them.

I prefer hosting most sites banners on my own server. However, some poker rooms are constantly changing their promotions and it's more beneficial to let them update them for you. Absolute Poker, for instance.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I will host all banners on my server with the exception of those that offer auto updating banners. The auto updating banners is a luxury I don't want to miss out on.

I prefer hosting the banners on my server so if the pofer site goes down I still have control. Although, my server goes down every so often.
