Would A Poker Strategy Site Be Considered Adult In Yahoo Directory?

I was wondering if the Yahoo directory sticks you with the $600 fee instead of the $299 fee by considering a poker strategy site "adult"?

I'm not real sure if listing in the Yahoo directory is even worth it anymore as far as seo boosts go but was wondering what other's experience has been with it?

No, I am pretty sure that "adult" refers to porn only. I listed a "casino" related site before for $299 a few years back.

I am not sure if it's still worth it though. I used that service years ago when it was good.

I noticed in their tos that they no longer accept gambling sites or sites that have links to online gambling sites in the yahoo directory.

They were grandfathered in. They aren't taking gambling sites at all anymore and you'll lose your $300 just like I did.

Nobody should be paying $300 for it in the first place. There is a service at DP that does it for $60 - 150 I believe and it is guaranteed inclusion.

DP is a forum. The benefits of yahoo directory on your site would be an authoritative link but as was mentioned above they don't accept gambling sites anymore.

Looks like they stopped the service a few months ago, and sorry for being so cryptic. This was the OP from what I was talking about.

Do you want to get a higher page rank? Do you want more pages indexed by Yahoo or more ranks' keywords on Yahoo? Submit your site to Yahoo Directory!
