Which is better?
Hi,
I've always made my subpages with nothing but my keywords (.com/pokerbonuscode.htm) Is it better to have them like this instead: (.com/poker-bonus-code.htm)?
I haven't had any problems with the way that I have been doing it, but I see that many of the most know sites use the "-" in between the words. I'm starting a new site and am curious which would be better for SEO?
Any thoughts would be great. Thanks in advanced!

Any rationale for why the hyphens are better?

Hyphens are used as a "space" to say the words are seperate. Not a huge difference either way, but still.

pokerbonuscode.htm is useless. Either do poker-bonus-code.htm or something like codes.htm. Hyphens allow words to be read individually, while scrunching the words together is the same as sysysyts.htm, useless.

Ok, so now I guess the question is: which is better to use "-" or "_"
EX: poker-bonus.htm or poker_bonus.htm
Also, does it make a difference if you use .htm or .html?

Never use an "_". Always use a "-"
There is no difference between html and htm, although I would guess the public is more used to html.
