Indexed two days ago - not today

Hello. I just put up my site about a week ago. It is not entirely complete but I did see it was indexed by google on Tuesday. However, today it is not showing up. It has a PR of 0 right now obviously but it is not banned as the bar is not greyed out but simply white. Any reason why this might be?

This is frequent with a new listing. Don't worry much about it, it will be back.

Yup... new pages bounche like crazy... dont worry, after mabye 1 week it shuld be stable...

I had a site that bounced like that for about 2 months, one day entire site would be indexed, next day it wouldnt, next day 7 pages, etc...

Hi, same happened here too - for about 10 days we were all over the place, this week we've settled down a bit and are getting a decent amount of hits for a new site. I won't hold my breath though, I know we could disappear again tomorrow.

A sitemap definitely helps as I've learnt to my cost before we went 'live' - my host has a sitemap facility, I was just playing around, clicked the wrong button and all of a sudden (well, 12 hours later) all of our test pages were there for the world to see, and that was without any backlinks at all. Never really rated them until that happened.

With regards to the PR0 issue. You won't get a PR rating until after the next update which could take up to a few months. Only then will you pick up a PR rating on the toolbar provided you have links into your site.

It is worth remembering though that although it doesn't show on the Google toolbar as having PR, the PR Google assigns to your site is constantly updating and therefore you will have credit within Google for any PR your site gains although it doesn't look that way on the toolbar.
