I remember when I made this site for you months ago . I really think you are on the right track. Keep adding fresh content in your poker articles section since that is a major part of your site.

I took a look at your forum and its growing nicely. I know you have used some different promotion methods for it and it is looking more busy these days. It is very difficult to grow a poker forum from scratch. Like you said, you havn't worked on it too much, so now it is a matter of growing the site by adding fresh quality content and over time your site will get more organic traffic.

Hey,

I remember wheb you fisrt got this going. The forum looks great. For some reason the index page looks bad on my screen. i have a wide screen and the right column is too far to the right.

My brutal opinion is that the rest of the site is a little boring. No offense kyle...

It just seems that there is nothing to grab my attention when i get there. No great images or text or color to take me in.

It may just be me but long before I was a poker affiliate i was a poker player and i would visit sites all day long and your main page would have turned me off quick. The sites i stuck around on where flopturnriver, playwinningpoker, pokersavvy, pokernews. I was always at the forums at FTR. I like sites that grab my attention. have images that make me look at what is going on. The main page of PAW (Yes there is a site here too for the rest of you) is a great example. The images are used to grab my attention and get me to read on.

Just some thoughts

I actually quite like the layout - has got great potential!

Unless you want major changes, i'd suggest the following.

As losercore mentioned - right column is a bit too far out - try containing it a bit more.

My biggest gripe with it, is the overall color theme and fonts used. I prefer a basic layout, but the colors just seem a bit "too basic". Have a look at your favorite sites and take note of the themes they use. With the fonts - keep it consistent. It gives a much more comfortable feel.

And most importantly - keep a consistent feel throughout the whole site (try tying the theme of the blog with the rest of the site). My "experience" changed when i moved from the blog to the main site, and back.

Looking forward to how it'll turn out!
