It all depends, i would say start with 5 to 10 rooms and see which one does the best for you, then center your marketing around that room, everyone likes different rooms for different reasons, and the main reason is which one converts the best for the paticular individual!

Are u looking to promote or play? For me i dont really have any characteristics i go with whatever makes the money! Thats whhy i say sign up as an aff. with 5 or 10 rooms, and see what converts, its free to sign up as an aff. i guess maybe we are talking about 2 different things!

Think of it this way......pros & cons.

High traffic/larger tournaments.

pros - great for big payouts
cons - less likely to make the payout

Low traffic/smaller tournaments
pros - easier to get a payout
cons - smaller prizes

I like doyles because of the smaller fields and the steeper payout structure (top 27)

Partypoker is good for big fields but I think they go to deep in the payout structure (ie top 100 or so)

Variety of game is a big factor for me. Holdem gets a little boring.

A big thing at the moment is method of payment, also timely payouts.
