Need a bit of feedback and advise - Rakeback affiliate directory

[John D]

Hey,

The next site I am working on is www.RakebackBob.com

I was looking for some advise on the script and search itself rather than the design.

I don't work with rakeback at all so I am not 100% on what exactly is important for rakeback affiliates and users.

Right now 3 featured affiliates are shown on the main page with 3 of their rooms and the % available for each room along with a few features of their room.

The search allows users to search by rakeback % and will also include just for specific rooms and to list all deals available for specific rooms as well as searching only for companies with specific features.

This is the page listing all affiliates - http://rakebackbob.com/viewall.php

You can see it hasn't been integrated with the design, anyone have any suggestions on how to best order it?

Here is the affiliate details - http://rakebackbob.com/view.php?id=4
Any suggestions on how to organise this best?

This is the submit page - http://rakebackbob.com/submit.php

Any suggestions on the layout and is anything missing that should be included in the database?

Thanks a lot

I know your not looking for advice on the design, but IMO you need to start with design or you visitors will click out more than they stick around. Your color scheme doesnt match and the font is really hard on the eyes, your top navigation looks blury, other than that looks good, i would change the blue to white, and find a nice background, mayb a light green to make the page really stand out! Oh and you really should try and use the same font throughout the page.....

P.S. It looks like there is a word behind Featured Deals heading

John,

I would take a look at how some of the other rakeback providers set it up for their users and see which approach you like the best. There are a number of rakeback directories that list rakeback by poker room, percentages, and rakeback affiliates. Check out rakerebatereview.com and rakeback-world.com
