Where to buy traffic from?

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me where the best to buy traffic from. Has someone had any luck with a certain company or let me know who to stay away from. What are the price ranges?

Nowhere None of those 'buy traffic' deals are any good; you won't get any conversions, and the only reason I could ever think of doing it was if you were selling advertising, and could use it to artifically inflate your stats for a few days, and even then for obvious reasons I'd advise against doing it

Unless you are talking about adwords and overture, other paid traffic scheme has lousy ROI.

Really the best thing to do is Google Adwords and Yahoo/Overture.

Do some reading about PPC advertising before you pay? The worst thign to do is blindly go paying for ads. You need to target the right kewords and the right keywords only.

2 tips for all...

1.Have about 10-15 percise keywords. If you are advertising a specific poker room then stay away from keywords that do not include your poker room.

2. Make sure the landing page the ad goes to is the exact thing you are advertising. DOn't expect people to navigate your site.

This should help you start out and save you a few $'s. These ads can expenisive quickly...

Adbrite also is pretty good. Good results from them
