Richard Lee's House Raided: WSOP Final Table Player

Richard Lee who finished 6th at this year's 2006 WSOP Main Event Final Table had his house raided late Tuesday night in San Antonio, TX for what police called, "running an extensive illegal internet gambling operation."

Man, what's with all the problems that these final table players run into? First the porn story on David Williams a while back, then Jamie Gold being sued for half his winnings and now Richard Lee's house being raided... guess the saying is true... "Mo Money Mo Problems."

I can't make heads or tails out of what exactly he was doing. Was he just a gambler or was he on the affiliate end, or maybe an owner? I just don't understand what they mean by "he ran an illegal gambling operation like a well oiled machine."

Yea that was confusing. I can't tell if he was gambling or had an online poker room running from his home.

He would had to have had a poker site running. Very strange indeed.

Nice find Bryan. That's interesting, I'd like to know what he was doing. With payouts of 500k, it doesn't sound like normal affiliating, must have been something bigger.

I would agree with Jeremy. Looks like a sportsbook operation. I doubt it had much to do with poker, but I'll try to find out more today.

Damn, must have been running a big operation out of there. Dumb ass should have just moved to Nevada and done it the right way if was flipping that many bets.
