I would be interested to see the plug, I would think you would need to be warned. Even if they closed your account you should be given the 20% of your players for life of their accounts. I mean, honestly I could take anyones bonus code or URL make a post on a public forum and have some competition taken out this easily? Seems there has to be more. If I was going to lose 2k a month for some arbitrary reason, Id consult an attorney.

The moral of this story is that you shouldn't go around spamming forums. Having an area on a forum where you are allowed to express your opinion doesn't mean you've given up all right to protect yourself from spammers.

How about creating a website with your opinions about Party Poker, making the content interesting and useful, then getting other interesting and useful sites to link to it? You'll then start to rise in the search engines, and you'll make far more money than you ever did spamming forums.

As far as getting your 20% for life, their agreement doesn't work that way. You have to be an affiliate to get your 20%. If you get yourself kicked out of their program, then you're no longer an affiliate.

That being said, I would think that you could talk your way back into Party's affiliate program with the appropriate amount of humility and professionalism. And a promise not to spam any more forums.

A forum like this where there is a designated SPAM area, would it be OK from PartyPoker's standpoint if you spammed the SPAM area?

He's not losing the money for an arbitrary reason. he's losing it because he deliberately broke the rules, got reported and Party closed his account as it should.

If you spam message boards, you hate money, period.

Party's T&C don't say they will close your account for spamming just because they wanted to put words on a page.

The other moral is that if there is even the slightest doubt about something you are thinking of doing, ask.

The warning is the T&C. They may judge that your act was one that doesn't actually merit a death sentence, but you have agreed that is up to them.

The other obvious lesson is link to your own webpage in situations like this, not an affiliate code link.

This is inspiring me to write an article on how to effectively use forums to promote your website without pissing anyone off. I'll be sure to post a link to it when it's ready.

Forums have made me alot......Okay ALOT of money in the past few years. There is a right way and a wrong way to capitalize on them though. Posting Bonus Codes or affiliate links is just bad business and will ruin your reputation in the long run. gaining business from forums or message boards is all about developing relationships with people.

Likewise before you want to get anything from the board you better be willing to give something. Also you probably shouldn't try to gain sign-ups when your at post #2 and have been a member for 1 hour.
