Default Extracting poker tournament data from poker clients?

I really need a tool to extract tournament data from many different poker clients. I dont know if its legal or not, if its possible or not, but heard something about datamining.

I have seen websites that monitors actual poker hands on certain sites and if that can be done, then it also must be possible only to extract tournament data.

Has any of you any experience with datamining or any other tool that may help me.

I thought tournamentmonitor.com did that? Are they still around and do they keep things updated?

Yea I believe tournamentmonitor works fine. Or I know there are a few other webmasters on here that may be able to offer some insights.

Also anitttyberg.....spammers are getting so clever. Not sure what the point of your post was, but considering your email address has the word incest in it, I will just go ahead and ban you.

Hi guys, thanks for your replies.

The point is I am hoping to become the next FREEROLL tournament monitor. Our site are offering a script for webmasters to insert on their website. This will display freerolls with their own aff. code for free.

However, everything is updated manually and I eman, we live in the year 2007 so there must be a way to make it more convenient :-)

The webmasters that know about this, please contact me :-)

Its possible, but it would never be that well automated as the freerolls change so often, your parser would have to be regularly changed to cope with new types of tournament anyway.

Its also a very large amount of work to do this for all the different poker clients out there. I'd recommend talking to the affiliate managers of each site and trying to get them to give you a direct feed.

Hi Steve

Nice idea - I will try to go for that! Thanks!

(But it can be done?) :-)

Yes. Just time consuming - therefore expensive.
