Default Anyone here profiting by getting US players who can't play at sites that shut down?

I was just wondering if anyone here is profiting on the large number of US players who can no longer play on their accounts at sites that shut down to them by getting them into the few sites that still allow US players?

It seems to me that this could be a good opportunity for the few that have the guts to go after the US market when so many are pulling out of it but then again I know there's a big risk involved with it as well. But then again that's always the case when it comes to finding opportunity.

Just curious on what everyone's thoughts were on this and what everyone was doing.

This was the deal a few months back when party and 888 left the market. There were a few months that were great for us that took advantage of it. my best months last year were the 3 months of the year right after the bill passed. We all thought it was bad fbut for 3 months I nearly trippled my income for the year.

Now the Neteller thing is different. This is an outright war against online poker and the US Government has pretty much ruined our business if you reside in the US.

Can't complain though. this was the risk we took when we all knew it was a grey area regarding the law.

Wish I could say the same. I had my best months the 3 months leading up to UIGE. Once that came I lost a ton.
Perhaps this was because I didn't really promote any of the sites that remained agressively. ALL the sites i had worked the hardest on promoting and building search traffic to ALL left the USA market.
I never really promoted: UB, AP, PokerStars, FTP much until after the UIGE.
The sites I pushed were BetHoldem/123Poker I had 65% MGR and gave 50% rakeback which was paid daily. This was an easy sell and i had the offer before most of the other rakeback sites did. Noble Poker - won't disclose it but had an AWESOME deal with them so pushed this site hard. Other sites i promoted hard but less than the other two were Pacific, Everest and Mansion. Mansion was 5th in the most aggresively promoted for me, they lasted the longest but still left now.
