Default Has Google changed its policy regarding gambling ads ?

Is it possible to advertise poker affiliate sites through adsense now? I guess not in the US as the right margin is blank when I search for 'poker' but in the UK I can see the ad of everestpoker.net and in my local, polish Google I see net version of Paradise and EuroPoker and even MansionPoker.com... Has there been any change recently or have I missed something?

Hmm, that is strange. For about 3 weeks ago, all my Adwords poker campaigns were sort of closed down - Google now demands that you pay minimum $5 for every click to your site, if the keywords has something to do with poker or freerolls.
That is a bit too much for my bankroll, so Google Adwords is not an option for me right now - I have tried all sort of keywords, but even freeroles Google has now set to $5 pr. click - I will look into this, maybe if you dont display your campaigns in US, the prize will be lower.....

paying $5 per click cannot be profitable for most poker affiliate website except for the major sites.

Does this mean we can promote 'poker' with AdSense pages? That would pay well at $5 click.
