This is part of an email I just received from Eurobet:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OUR POKER AFFILIATE PROGRAMME
1) Affiliates shall ask all potential players if they already have a Eurobet account. They will not resign existing players without written consent from Eurobet. Eurobet considers the resign of existing players as fraud traffic and reserves the right to withhold payments for any such traffic.
2) Rakeback is not accepted by Eurobet. Affiliates will not inform players that they will receive rakeback deals from Eurobet directly or that they may contact Eurobet support about rakeback deals. Affiliates must inform their players that any such agreements shall not be enforced or governed by Eurobet staff.
3) Affiliates will not offer over 25% revenue sharing deals in any public forum, website, automated message, private message on a forum, email or any other correspondence that could be sent to a third party.
4) All revenue sharing deals must remain private and confidential. All parties to such agreements must agree not to disclose details to any third party.
5) Affiliates may not offer any revenue sharing agreement to a customer that is higher than the percentage that they have already received from Eurobet for the previous period.

Coral Eurobet maintain a zero tolerance policy with regards to compliance of its rules and regulations and how its affiliates represent them in the greater Poker world. This communication is strictly confidential, any breach of this will result in immediate termination of you affiliate account. Eurobet does not advocate public rake back deals.

Kind Regards

sooooo...rakeback is not accepted, but they provide stringent guidelines on how to do it? Hmmm...

Don't ask don't tell. On the subject, my thoughts on these card rooms that have this policy, party included, is there is a reason for it. Looks to me it gives them full control to cut the affiliate out of the equation at any time. Once an affiliate decides to stop actively seeking signups the card room does an 'investigation' and closes his account along with his cash flow.

I think Party Poker is against rakebacks for the following reason. They do not want a current real money player who did not sign up under any affiliate to create a new account and sign up under an affiliate who is now offering them a rake back plan. If this happens, PartyPoker went from getting 100% of that players rake to 75%, because now it has to pay 25% out to the affiliate.

Party is against rakeback because the idea is poisonous to the cardroom. If the cardroom wanted to lower its rake to reward players, it would. Duuh.

The doorways are not Party. They are basically just affiliates, and they have to follow Party's rules, when they are made aware of violations.

I believe you'd have to be crazy to do rakeback with any Party skin, unless you were dealing with blood kin or something. Any one player could turn you in, and you could lose all your affiliate relationships, even though the rakeback was basically a private deal.
