Fortune Affiliates Stats

These guys are not a sponsor here but I did want to commend them for be forthcoming and disclosing a recent issue they had with their stats versus not saying anything an hoping it would just magically disappear.

If someone could create a software platform for poker affiliate programs that actually worked 100% of the time you'd be a millionaire.

I wonder if other large affiliate industries (such as porn) have the same widespread stats issues we seem to experience?

Hi Jeremy,

On February 7th Microgaming Systems advised us that there is an error with their data, we therefore switched off the stats engine as to avoid reporting the incorrect data while the issue is being addressed.

The Microgaming Systems issue started on January 16th and will therefore have an effect on January's stats which in turn affects the payments. The payment run for January was stopped as the data which payments are calculated on is incorrect; currently it looks as though earnings and, therefore payments, for January on the whole may actually increase for the affected affiliates.

As soon as MGS has sorted out the data issues the payment run will commence and the stats engine will be switched on - please keep an eye on your inbox for notification of this.

Yeh, just got the email. Poker room also has a problem with their stats at the moment, it tells you when you log in it will be fixed by the 15th.

They bumped it to the 17th. Its beginning to be a monthly thing for them B)

Just received an email from fortune saying most stats have been fixed. And they are making payments now. Still havent received mine yet thou , has anyone else. heres the email

We are going to start up the stats engine again. The data displayed
may still be incorrect for a few affiliates as it only affected certain
players. We will be sending out a communication to the affected
affiliates to advise the expected impact and resolution.

While the stats engine has been off all of the data on existing and new
players has still been collected which means that you will see the
correct stats if you are not one of the affected affiliates.

To avoid delaying payments further we have decided to make the payments
now and adjust the affected affiliates as soon as all the outstanding
data issues have been resolved.

I have run PTR companies where the script cost $99 and the stats worked better for the affiliate advertising part than most of my poker affiliate stats do

With the warnings everyone's had about these guys, it's only your fault if you don't get credit or your money. They have been very disloyal to their affiliates in the past. What have they done to change that? Nothing that I'm aware of.

i really never had a problem with them ever, they always pay ,me by the 20th of every month , and never game me a problem about my cpa,
