Party Poker Trackers

Has anyone noticed lately when you create new trackers it say's an email will be sent to you shortly confirming. I haven't received an email for my last 4 trackers. They show up in my tracking stats, but I wanted to make sure these were good before I started to use them.

Do not worry about getting those emails as long as you see them in your tracking stats. I have had a similar experience as you. Sometimes I get them a week late or sometimes I never get an email at all.

I actually got an email from one of the players who used one of my bonus codes... he recieved an email from PartyPoker support saying that they didn't have that bonus code... actually i'll pull the email:

This is the email they sent my player:

- I emailed my account rep yesterday about this (nothing back yet). Should i be concerned that I'm not getting credit for these players (I have checked and the tracker shows it is valid (i have 1 player who signed up with it like 4 weeks back through the bonus)...

Any advice from the more experienced party poker affiliates appreciated (we just started w/ them in February). Thx

Did the player type in the code as BRAVES FAN OR BRAVESFAN? I believe the space does make a difference.

There is a difference between deposit bonus codes and "sign up bonus code" A lot of existing players will insert a sign up bonus code when they are making their 2nd deposit to Party Poker. In this case you will not get any credit for a new player.

The email could have been about an invalid "deposit bonus code" and not the "sign up deposit code"

I did already have BRAVEFAN registered as well and just now got BRAVES FAN and BRAVE FAN too just in case... i didn't even bother with the spaces before because it says to avoid those when you create codes... Better safe than sorry i guess.

So, it looks like he used it correctly when he signed up and he did deposit. It is possible that he came through one of the links on my site that isn't tracked to that particular code, but I'm not certain of that. Suprised me to get the email for sure as we've had 1 successful sign up with it already a few weeks back.

Ok - looks like Ritch was correct. Here is my reply from Party:

Hi Jason,

The player goofed up here.

The bonus code is a valid one. Instead of entering the bonus code while creating the account, the player used it while making a deposit which is the not the right thing as this is not a deposit bonus code, it's a affiliate sign ups bonus code. Hence, the player did not get any bonus and it did not get tracked to you as well.

Did you get a Bravesfan tracker email or did it just show up with your registered tracker stats?

i've gotten emails for all the trackers i've created, including this one. Also got 2 more from the ones i registered yesterday.

I'm confused. Why should it matter if somebody is making a deposit and then entering your bonus code? Shouldn't it still be tracked to you. This seems very fishy to me. In my eyes, they are stealing this RMP from you.
