Chouse28,
FeeRan's advice is right on the money, follow it to the letter.
If you have liitle experience at building websites and search engine optimization it will be very hard for you to get a site to rank well in Google and the other major SE's.
There are scores of poker websites that have a big jump on you, time wise, with hundreds of pages of content and incoming links on their sites.
And it's getting more and more competitive everyday.
My liitle poker site has about 45 pages of content and maybe 100 incoming links and that took me a year and a half, part-time to build.
It was a lot of work to build it but it does make me 2k to 4.5k a month with very little up keep once it was up and running.
You may want to go this route if you have lot's of spare time and really enjoy writing about poker but for newbies to the affiliate game I think you will have more success if you create niche sites like the Fireman and Stock-Trader sites Jeremy describes in his E-book, pure genius.
Thinking outside of the box is the way to go.
If you read every post on this forum you will find so many profitable and creative marketing idea's you're going to have trouble deciding which one to try first.
Pick one or two ideas that really appeal to you and focus all of your resources and energy on just those.
If you spread yourself too thin you'll just end up with a lot of incomplete, unprofitable projects.
Focus one just one or two and give it everything you've got.
I can't stress this enough, focus, and use your limited, valueable time wisely.
And keep asking questions, this forum can make big bucks for anyone who is willing to learn the ropes and work hard.
