Wouldn't this be considered Rakeback?

Okay, each player that generates $15,000 in rake gets an Ipod.

Or, get xx amount of player points and get a TV.

Is that considered rakeback or just comps?

I've been told by one site you can "comp" players, but not give them rakeback. What the hell is the difference. I know what "technically" is the difference, but you are still revenue sharing.

At this point, I don't participate in an affiliate program, but if I can't "comp" my players like every other casino in america, I'm not interested.

There is a big difference. In your example a person has to reach a goal to get a gift. If they reach 14k they get nothing. If they reach 67k, they still only get one ipod.

The difference between this and a rakeback percentage is pretty obvious.
