Just do a US server. I think there has been a recent thread about whether promoting online poker rooms is illegal in the US but I am not sure. Can any one confirm?

Promoting online poker rooms in the USA is theoretically a legal gray area. The DOJ has an opinion that promoting online poker is considered aiding and abetting based on the Wire Act, but that's a theory untested in a court of law.

Well it may be a grey area in germany too. I recently caught live poker games on tv on tape and there were pokerstars promoting under pokerstars.tv and some players wore some merchandised polo shirts with a pokerstars logo clearly visible.

Just realized something:
So if Pokerstars' commercials can't advertise their .com site I assume their affiliates can't either. If their affiliates can't promote pokerstars.com on a commercial why could they be allowed to promote in other ways. What is the rule on that?

The Department of Justice sent threatening letters to several major media outlets here in the USA, including tv stations, magazines, newspapers, radio stations, and search engines. The media outlets responded to the letters by pulling any ads for sites that allow wagering on them. Pokerstars.net, PartyPoker.net, Interpoker.tv all offer play money games only.

Pokerstars.tv ist the same as .com and the ad was clearly visible. the first tv show had a bluesqpoker.com ad visible beneath the board where the cards are dealt. the TV show was aired at Eurosport.

You asked for hosting. What exactly are you looking for?
