Default Attention AMs - Affiliate Speed Pay

AMs:

Why aren't you using a system like www.affiliatespeedpay.com?

Wouldn't this make sense?

Its very costly, fees are really high. Its a great idea, and I think it will be good in the future though.

It actually makes a lot of sense and we are looking into it right now. The problem however for many affiliate programs are the fees. Let's say for example you have an affiliate that you are going to transfer $10K to and it is going to cost you 2.5%.

Paying $250 in processing fees for each of these transactions could get quite costly. I know at PAW it is much more cost effective to simply do a bankwire, neteller, or intra-account transfer on a poker site.

I don't think anyone will argue that it is a kick ass idea. But to answer your question bluntly, the fees are why many affiliate departments haven't made it available yet. Nonetheless it is a great idea and it would be fantastic to see the whole industry got o something like this.

But my guess is that affiliates wouldn't like it if they were asked to share in the processing fees.

why not give the affiliate the option to eat the cost?

Because affiliates won't want to eat the start up cost that you have to pay just to be on the program. Which is in the mid $XXXX.XX. I know I wouldn't

LOL. this whole industry works contrary to market conditions. If I was a new company or trying to attract business it would seem paying people faster would be a monstrous selling point.

It is like everyone thinks all of the profits from 3 years ago are today's reality.

Everyone needs to wake up, we will all be making less and less and the first Cardroom to make that jump will benefit greatly.

Maybe Jeremy can do it, while he might have to delay buying that Bentley for a week or 2 maybe in a year or so he will be the only one in Rockford with a Maybach.

Good point Beanie. It will work for some rooms, and not for others. For me, its a lot smarter for us to cut a check or wire the money still.

I can't agree more...and am no way saying PAW should use a service like this...as they have a few reliable payment methods.

I am just tired of every affiliate program having a DIFFERENT way to payout.

Some use player accounts. Some use MoneyBookers. Some use Epassporte. Some still use Neteller. Some use wire transfer....some don't. Some CHARGE for wire transfers...some don't. Some charge for cheques...some don't. Etc....

It is ridiculous that they aren't on a SIMILAR page. We have to jump through hoops to get our payments at many of the rooms...and we EARNED the payment!

Can you imagine if your FT job (other than affiliating) said, "To get your paycheque...you need to invest in our company...or...pay a fee...or open an account at such and such bank."?

You would figure in this day and age of technology, this would be a much smoother process!

I believe Sunpoker.com is getting this option soon. I was told that it was in the works.

And I present you with................ The PAW Network. Promote everyone, check your stats in one spot, and get paid better rates with one easy reliable payment.

We may still go with Speedpay, I'm just not certain affiliates would use it over Neteller, bank wires, or intra-account transfers on Stars or FullTilt.
