Flash makes some pretty large files if you don't know what you are doing. Can anybody suggest a good GIF banner creator that is user friendly and doesn't look like crap?

Paintshop Pro produces professional quality graghics of any kind...... but is a bit of a bitch to learn.

Highly recommended.... IF you're really into graghic designing and have plenty of spare time to fiddle with the software.

Jeremys new "The Party Riches Freeroll" banner looks pretty good.

How'd you make it Jeremy?

With Flash you can export as an GIF.

Jeremy's is simply a jpg. If all you want to do is make a jpg Photoshop or Fireworks is the way to go.
