I'm not sure that this is what you are asking but I'll give it a go anyway.

Simple example:
Team A - 10 players
Team B - 5 players
15 players in total

There are twice as many players in A than in B, therefore any points won by team B will be doubled.

All you have to do is divide the number of players in the bigger team by the number of players in the smaller team to find the coefficient (number to multiply the points by) of the points for the team with the diadvantage.

e.g 10/5 = 2, therefore points won by players in the team with 5 should have any points they won multiplied by two.

Practical example:
Team A - 8
Team B - 17

You intend to give 3 points to 3rd, 5 points the 2nd and 10 points to 1st.

The final 3 ends up being
1st - A player
2nd - B player
3rd - A player

Now because Team A was at a disadvantage, we have to multiply their results by a coefficient to make them fair. The coefficient being 17/8 = 2.125, so...

1st - Team B = 10
2nd - Team A = 5*2.125 = 10.625 (11)
3rd - Team A = 3*2.125 = 6.375 (6)

So overall Team B gets 10 points and Team A win with 17 points
