A raked hand (MPP) can be defined by the following..
Rake from 0 to 24 = 0 MPP
Rake from .25 to 0.99 = .25 MPP
Rake from $1 to $3 = 1 MPP
Tournament Fee’s $/£/€ 1 = 3 MPPs

Think about the "defnitions" in a Dictionary: they always start with the Term that is being defined...and then the explanation follows.
People are interested in the
definition of MPPs - so that they can understand how they can be earned.
I believe that you are constructing your tables/equations backwards. You are not actually "defining" raked hands in your table - you are "classifying" or "categorizing" or "ranking" them in terms of the amount of MPPs each level earns.
The definition of a "raked hand" ought to be "any hand for which rake has been taken"...not some arbitrary amount of money that changes the definition.
I believe that the following is less confusing:
Explanation of CPA requirement:
The CPA requirement requires referred Players to earn 500 MPPs, which are calculated according to the raked value of the hands that they play.
MPPs = Value of Raked Hands
.00 MPP = Any Hand raked between $0.00 and $.24
.25 MPP = One Hand raked between $.25 and $.99
1.0 MPP = One Hand raked between $1.00 and $3.00
3.0 MPP = Tournament Fees of 1 $/£/€ unit, regardless of currency
The fact that people keep asking this question might be an indication of a need for a clarification like I have attempted to provide.
