hope i haven't missed someones post thats was along these lines but there was quite a lot to read on this thread.

anyway this is what i did at the start and am doing again in the coming months, works wonders.

2 friendly and of course beutiful ladies, a few $$$ and some cards.

I sponsored a horse race at a local track near to me and in the region which my site was based www.cumbrianpoker.co.uk by doing this the race was called the www.cumbrianpoker.co.uk handicap stakes and was listed in every national newspaper for gamblers to see.

the course let me turn up with the girls in tow and get everyone at the track to fill out a free membership form to join cumbrian poker, they were dreesed smart with a sash baring the company name.

who's not gong to talk to them?

I got thousands of customised chips and made them into ketyrings which we gave away if they filled in the membership form.

The form had sections for, name, address, email, and most important mobile phone number.

I can now use text marketing to let everyone know what new and whats coming up.

I think i got over 1500 names addresses, emails and mobile numbers that day and i lot of sign ups to follow.

All in all it cost around £1400 about $2600 but i swear it was well worth it and got me off to a great start.

hitting all race courses in the uk within the next 6 months as i have most regions covered now with sites iof a simular nature.

and if your paying someone $300 to hand out 125 fliers your wasting your money, i'd pay about $80 for a full days work doing it or infact do it myself at the same time.
