My advice would be to start reading this forum and you'll find that answer many times over. Sorry, but that has been covered in the forum about 100 times and even is currently being discussed.

Simply start reading or use the search function and you'll find all the answers, then you can consult a professional if you wish and then it's really up to you.

That is my advice and best of luck is you decide to go down this route.

It's extremely competitive and I will say most successful affiliates treat this as a job, but if you're just looking for some extra beer money it can be alot harder then just putting up a banner farm and expecting it to make money. You'll be extremely disappointed after your initial friends sign up under you.

If you do decide to go ahead and try it... you'll find this forum is filled with some of the most successful and helpful affiliates in the world that are more then willing to help you out. It's just that your question comes at an awkward time and there really is no clear answer to your question. All you can do is look at the facts and then make your own decision.

Sorry for not being able to give you a more clear cut answer, but most of us aren't legal experts or attorneys in the field of online gaming. Alot of us however have been around for a while and currently there does not appear to be any current U.S. law that prohibits anyone from being a poker affiliate. Again, I would first suggest reading this forum as much as possible and look at all points of view and then it's really just up to you if you feel comfortable with it.
