PokerStars released a note on their client thanking all the players that helped them set their record for players on simultaneously. They had over 100,000 players playing at the same time over the weekend which was more than any other poker room in the world. This is very big news, and goes to show that PokerStars is arguably the best poker room in the industry. So why don't more people promote them?

PokerStars has an affiliate program, but does not emphasize it like other poker rooms. The chose to rely more off their sponsored players. To have the last three World Series of Poker Champions call you poker room home, is great marketing. But no site makes it that big with out an affiliate program. Their affiliate program which is starting to pick up more attention, is in need of some effort. If they were to push their program like other rooms, imagine the results. With their guaranteed one million dollar tournaments every month, and their new VIP program; they have many things that affiliates could use to draw traffic.

So here at PAW we congratulate PokerStars for their accomplishment and hope to see them grow.
