Many of you may have forgotten about the debacle that took place earlier in the year between PokerShare.com, UltimateBet.com, and software provider Excapsa. It all seemed to come and go so fast that no one learned the true story of what transpired.
It appears that PokerShare.com has filed a lawsuit against UltimateBet.com for £100 Million. Needless to say this could spell some trouble for UltimateBet who has made plans to float later this year on the London Stock exchange. Regardless of how the events transpired on November 10th, 2005, had PokerShare.com continued with it's amazing growth and momentum, they certainly would have become a major player in the online poker market.
We at PokerAffiliateWorld are confident that PokerShare.com will be re-launching in the future under a new software platform. Initially there may be some obstacles to overcome, however without question the "outside of the box" business plan and savvy leadership that PokerShare has should allow it to pick up where they left off. Please see the article that was just recently published in London's Sunday Express.
Here are a few of the threads regarding the PokerShare and UltimateBet debacle.
