A new "outside the box" promotion has been thought up by a poker affiliate. Just when you thought you had seen everything there is to see from poker affiliates with sites like SaveMyFinger.com, a new promotion has evolved.
This one does not involve gambling off any limbs or anything like that. Instead it allows players to win a goat! Yes you read that correctly, PokerBonusDirect.com is offering up the opportunity for you to win a goat.
Don't worry you will not wake up to a wooden crate on your doorstep with goat noises coming from inside. Instead this is an unusual promotion that actually is to benefit third world countries. Essentially if you play the minimum amount of raked hands, PokerBonusDirect will donate a goat to a family in need via the Oxfam Charity.
Here's the skinny on what happens once you reach your minimum amount of raked hands from the website.

  • · The Poker Goat goes to where it is needed most
  • · Transport for the Goat to reach its new home
  • · Vaccinations to keep animals healthy
  • · Vaccination training for families
  • · Training for families in animal husbandry
  • · Market awareness training so families can make the most of their assets
  • · The costs of Oxfam Unwrapped

Definately an "outside the box" promotion, but one that is receiveing some coverage on even the larger poker news sites. Kudos to our PAW member Pokermaster on coming up with a zany idea that will not only put money in his pocket but also help out a third world country.
