Earlier this week while I was in Las Vegas for the Bodog Conference and the 2006 WSOP, I couldn't help wonder what the heck this PartyPoker.com Monster was. It seemed that every taxi cab in Las Vegas had a Party Poker Monster advertisement on it.

Brilliant marketing in my opinion, as it tweeked even an experienced poker affiliates interest. So what is this PartyPoker.com Monster that seems to be popping up everywhere?

PartyPoker.com has always been known for being innovators in the poker market, in fact when they created party poker bonus codes, the rest of the poker rooms followed suit and launched their own bonus codes created what they are calling the biggest online poker promotion ever, and this promotion is named "The PartyPoker.com Monster"

It appears this monster is going to be a freeroll series lasting 11 months and having a total prize pool of over $5 Million dollars when it is all said and done. Over the next 11 months, PartyPoker.com promises that over 40,000 players will win cash prizes.

PartyPoker.com is also reporting that they will be hosting a series of televised tournaments in cities around the world, from London to Las Vegas and exotic locales in between, leading up to this PartyPoker.com Monster Grand Offline Final that will take place in South America in June, 2007.

PartyPoker.com will be seeding the final prize pool with at least $5,000,000. That number is also going to get bigger as a percentage of the prize pool from each tournament qualifier and a percentage from the bad beat jackpot is added to the progressive Monster Grand Final prize pool.

The Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament will feature the final six players from the Monster Grand Final taking place on May 26, 2007.

Looking at this promotion from a poker affiliate standpoint, it is obvious that only a room the size of PartyPoker.com could add $5 Million Dollars to a freeroll. With the amount of exposure this tournament is going to receive, it lends a great opportunity for us to capitalize on the new players that will be brought in.
