Changes at PokerKing
Recently PokerKing has announced that they will be stopping their Bad Beat Jackpot. However, all the cash that has been accumulated is still available for the taking. As you know, BBJ do not reward all the cash at once, so players will share the whole $187.000 via several next bad beats.
So from 1 September, the cash accumulated on Bad Beat Jackpot tables now goes to fund King’s Treasures Races, a unique format leaderboard.
The best piece of news however is this. Previously up to $0.50 fee was taken at JP tables to fund Bad Beat Jackpot and King Treasures. Now, micro stakes tables ($0.10 and below) will not be charged at all while only up to $0.25 fee will be taken to fund Kings Treasures at higher limits.
King’s Treasures are dived twofold. A part of accumulated money goes to Cash Race Leaderboard while the rest fund Tournament Package Jackpot. To participate your players need to play at jackpot (JP) or Beast tables. They collect points every time at least four players are dealt into a hand.
In simple terms, King’s Treasures is a monthly leaderboard race with some exclusive prizes. In addition to cash prizes in August 9 players also received tickets to 10 package GTD Punta Cana Classic on 8 September (valued at $50 +5 each).
