Known for their guerilla marketing tactics in the poker affiliate world, GoldenPalace.com has done it again by purchasing all the advertising space on NeverWinPoker.com. No, they didn't just purchase a few banner ads or text links........they purchased every piece of advertising that was available on the site.

Being an advertiser at NWP in the past and a friend of Bryan Micon's, I can't imagine this advertising came with a cheap price tag! GoldenPalace.com is known for their out of the box marketing as well as creative media buys. The purchase of every advertising spot at NWP comes on the heels of Bryan Micon's first cash at the 2006 WSOP Event #3. Likewise fellow site owner and high limit internet player Dustin Woolf (Neverwin) is playing virtually every event and will more than likely cash or at the very least get television time at some point.

The purchase makes sense for internet giant GoldenPalace.com who is always looking for advertising opportunities. In the event Bryan or Dustin makes a final table or even better win a bracelet, Golden Palace will be laughing al the way to the bank.

NWP is already one of the most active and heavily visited poker forums on the internet. It is also the self proclaimed "filthiest uncensored poker forum in the world". Known for attracting a mix of high limit internet pro's, as well as degenerate poker players, there is no doubt Golden Palace will get the exposure they are looking for.

Having dealt with both these characters in the past (Golden Palace & Micon) I have a theory on how this deal went down. More than likely our PAW member Bryan Micon stumbled upon GP's booth at the 2006 WSOP Expo and introduced himself. He probably then went on to explain how he is practically famous on the internet and runs the filthiest poker forum around. Knowing Micon, he also mentioned how many events both him and Dustin are playing in, and how sick the traffic is going to be when they reach a few final tables.

Naturally GoldenPalace was interested in how much advertising was and inquired on the price. After Micon gave them the monhly ad costs and some more sales pitches, GP opened up the checkbook and said "We'll take all of them". Booya, a win/win for both!

Neither Bryan Micon or Dustin Woolf could be reached for comment, but there is a good chance they are now freerolling at least a few of their events at this years 2006 WSOP. From personal experience I can tell you, selling ad space is easier than dressing up like a pink bunny. Nice job fellas, bring home some bracelets.
