Is there any way to add animtion in photoshop when making banners? What do you guys use to make animated banners?

Hey Jeremy,

If you have image ready and photshop, you can easily create animated banners (image ready i think is included with photoshop).

Create your banner in photoshop and make the different animations in separate layers, when done save as a psd (keep layers intact).

Then in image ready open up the psd and for each frame of your animated gif, select the layers you wish to have visible.

It's not a detailed guide but with a little fiddling im sure you can create an animated gif using photoshop & image ready.

Thanks Bobby! As you can see on the tournament banner above I figured it out. Great links.

Macromedia Flash in my opinion is the best. Let me know if you need a software hook up or a banner.
